I’m almost embarrassed to say that until Mother’s Day, I’ve never been to Lake Lure. I know-20 years in WNC and first time to Lake Lure. It was well worth the trip!
We went ziplining in the tree canopy and ate dinner overlooking the lake and nearby balds. Absolutely incredible.
The cool part about this zipline was that we could go tandem with our kids. They weren’t heavy enough to go on some of the other area ziplines and tandem was only an option at this zip line. Check out Canopy Ridge Farm: https://canopyridgefarm.com/
The Lake Lure Flowering Bridge was starting to bloom and visible from La Strada where we had a lovely dinner overlooking the balds and lake.
